The staff say "Welcome" when you come in to the store. The vibe is more relaxed and "human" than Starbucks which feels robotic.
The place is excellent for outdoor patio seating with outlets. Many people are able to sit at individual tables and have their computers plugged in and work. Their WiFi is quite A-OK. It's got a nice buzz. There's even a fireplace, though I've never actually seen it fired up on a chilly evening. I have even seen people take language lessons at their patio tables. They expect you to linger.
I love their Sumatra coffee which is more economical and quite tasty than similar brews at Starbucks. I think the coffee here is good value by the brewed cup.
I am not a fan of blended drinks here and I find them a bit wan. Their regular coffee is ace. -

It's a tinder hotspot.
You know how neutral spots are typically tea and coffee? But it's sometimes awkward because the coffee shop is too quiet. This is literally the opposite of that.
The place has the best of both of worlds. You can stay inside where it's cool, quiet, and pound in your studying or you can go outside to feel the breeze and chill out with a friend or two.

I understand since I used to work in a restaurant closing shift. And we would watch the clock hoping for no more customers. But...the clock said 10:55. Perhaps change your "posted" closing time to avoid this situation.

I just had chamomile tea at this place but the barista was super friendly and accommodating. I got here an hour before they closed and they didn't rush me at all. There is plenty of seating, tables are clean and so is the bathroom. Staff super friendly. Would recommend!
